The work that has been done over the years by the Women's refuge is phenomenal. The care, support and security they offer people in such immediate and dire need has always been amazing. Currently the cost of living crisis has created a perfect storm as the need for the services is greater than ever due to knock on effects the financial pressures have on families combined with funding cuts mean the refuge is dependent upon donations more than ever
Boxes of Hope is another local charity. The work that Mandie Baxter has done over the years, initially single handed to support people in Ukraine along with local people is inspirational. The charity has grown to be so much more to the people of Holbeach and the surrounding areas
As a local unit there will have been many people who have been touched by the care and services provided at the Johnson over the years. It is important to support it moving forwards to help many more local families
