Annual Young Chef Competition
One of the most rewarding events of the Rotary year is the Young Chef competition, where local school-children produce some amazing dishes with stunning table settings
Ten aspiring young cooks from three local schools – Spalding Academy, Spalding High and Bourne Academy – entered the Spalding Rotary Club Young Chef Competition held at the Spalding Academy or the Spalding High School in November of each year. The competition is a highly competitive event in which students are required to prepare a two course meal in two hours at a fixed maximum cost of ingredients
